If you are planning on performing electrical work as a business in Queensland, the QTP (Qualified Technical Person) course is an Electrical Safety Office (ESO) requirement.
This course meets qualification requirements for a Qualified Technical Person on a Queensland Electrical Contractors licence.

The Qualified Technical Person Course QLD (UEEEL0002, UEEEL0029 &UEEEL0030) training is delivered face-to-face in class. Prior to confirming your enrolment we will ask you to provide evidence of your prior knowledge such as your Electrical Qualification, relevant work experience, and required licenses.
**Please note, the full course is delivered over 4 days but you will only need to attend 3 days of the 4 day class. We cover the theory requirements of the course during the first 2 days of the course, we then split the class into 2 groups and one group will complete their practical assessment on day 3 and the other group on day 4.

The Qualified Technical Person Course Qld covers the following nationally recognised units of competency:
UEEEL0002 – Implement safe working practices and compliance verification of various electrical installations. (This unit can be completed as a stand-alone unit - contact our office 0407 164 909 for further information)
UEEEL0029 – Practice compliance inspection of LV electrical installations with a demand exceeding 100A per phase.
UEEEL0030 – Accurately conduct compliance inspections of single-phase LV electrical installations.
These units ensure that students will qualify to receive their Qualified Technical Person on a Queensland Electrical Contractors Licence.

We offer the Qualified Business Person (QBP) course as a separate course face-to-face over 2 days.
The Qualified Technical Person Course allows students to successfully prepare, follow, apply and report safe work practices in the electrical trade and industry. The course also ensures students have the right skills to prepare and conduct compliance inspections then act and report on inspection findings.
Most importantly, the course allows you to receive a Nationally Recognised Certificate which you can use to further your career as an electrician.
It is a 4-day course that is delivered face-to-face in class. The course includes cable selection, voltage drop and maximum demand calculations and will focus heavily on mandatory test procedures
